While it’s plain to see Coco’s Italian Market mimics the import and
specialty markets from home in NY, our inspiration is even deeper than
that....actually a little known, undocumented part of culinary history: In
many of those old markets you could follow your nose to find an aroma
coming from the employee break-rooms. Peek your head in and you'd
see the family matriarch cooking the staff's meal. That savory scent was
the stores best advertising, of course they cooked with provisions readily
on hand in their market. Funny thing, it was not uncommon to see the
neighbors and local businessmen in there eating with the market’s
staff. Some employee break-rooms got so popular they actually
expanded their seating areas or added full fledged lunch restaurants to
the store, albeit informal.

We are not just a restaurant, at our heart we are a market of Italian provisions both imported or made by
Italian/American owned companies. As opposed to other restaurants our availability of fresh, authentic market
products ensure that you are going to get the real Italian and Italian/American culinary experience.

Our dining area is a bit fancier than an employee break-room but the foods are as authentic and reasonably priced. The seating area is
in a stone-walled Tuscan farmhouse motif. The retro furniture and avant garde sconces light a cozy-romantic setting that is still ideal for
the whole family or a quick lunch.
If you are coming for dinner you'll see that our restaurant can be fun and interactive. Between courses get up and visit the market
section, taste a sample of cheese or salami. We hope to inspire you to pick up provisions for the next Italian meal you cook at home, if
